  • Will Always Put the Client First

  • Will Strictly Follow the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for New York State and InterNACHI  

  • Will Provide Honest Assessments and Reports Based on Observations and Facts

  • Will Not Disclose Inspection Results with Third Party Without Client Consent

  • Will Not Engage in Unlawful Activity

  • Will Avoid Conflicts of Interest and Disclose to Client if a Potential Conflict of Interest Exists

Included in Home Inspection:

  • Visual, Non-Invasive Examination of Accessible Building Systems:

    • Heating System​

    • Cooling System

    • Plumbing System

    • Electrical System

    • Structural Components

    • Foundation

    • Roof and Ventilation

    • Masonry Structure

    • Exterior and Interior Components

  • Normal Operation of Systems and Components

    • Faucets/Plumbing Fixtures

    • Appliances ​

    • Heating/Cooling Systems

    • Switches/Outlets

    • Doors/Windows

  • Walking on Roofs (Only if Safe and Necessary to Do So)​

  • Written Report Delivered Within 48 Hours (Usually Within 24 Hours)

Excluded from Home Inspection:​

  • Engineering or Architectural Advise

  • Inspection to Code Requirements

  • Inspection of Components with No Access​

  • Inspection of Systems That Are Powered Off

  • Inspection of Any Area Deemed Unsafe

  • Evaluation of Efficiency of Systems

  • Determination of Property Lines

  • Operational Test of A/C if Below 65 F
